LAZAR CHAIR

A portrait of my Great-Grandfather Lazar as a chair.
Lazar was a distinguished tailor in Iran, and once they arrived to San Francisco, got his leg caught under a cable car, leaving him unable to work. The family scrambled and everyone went to work to survive, and were eventually able to purchase a house in the Sunset where Lazar made homemade wine in the garage.
